This experiment was carried out to investigate the growth of creeping bentgrass according to the amount and concentration of 1 mL m-2 liquid fertilizer application on the leaf surface. A preliminary experiment was carried out from April 2017 at plastic house in Dankook University, Cheonan. A field experiment was carried out at same place in 2018. Creeping bentgrass 'Penn A1' was used in the preliminary and field experiments. In the preliminary experiment, 100, 25, 5, 1 mL m-2 of water volumes were applied after diluting 1 mL m-2 GG (13-2-3+trace element) as the liquid fertilizer. In the field experiment, 25 mL m-2 (25x dilution) of water volumes was used as a control, and 1 mL m-2 of different concentrated liquid fertilizer, and three volume levels of undiluted, doubled, and quadrupled solution were sprayed on the leaf surface. In the preliminary experiment, darker visual color and higher plant height were found in 1 mL and 5mL water volumes compared to 100 mL m-2 and 25 mL m-2 treatments. In the field study, 1 mL m-2 undiluted treatment showed best visual quality and higher than control and quadrupled solution treatment. Visual color and plant height significantly showed statistical differences. However, their was no statistically significant difference in visual quality. Root length showed similar tendency in all treatments. The dry weight of roots demonstrated slightly higher in control, but had not indicated in statistical difference. All the results, spraying of the undiluted GG liquid fertilizer on leaf surface with 1 mL m-2 ultra low-volume showed no difference in the growth of creeping bentgrass when compared with 25 times and 2 times. Therefore, ultra low-volumes of application can be more efficient for creeping bentgrass management with same agricultural aspect.
