Solar Park: Illuminating Renewable Energy Education

Abstract

This capstone project utilised 4Dframe hands-on learning tools to construct an interactive "Solar Park" with the primary aim of enhancing public understanding of renewable energy while showcasing its practical integration into daily life. The project's context revolves around the pressing need for widespread renewable energy education, given the increasing importance of sustainability in today's world. Our methods involved the creative assembly of 4Dframe components to craft an engaging Solar Park featuring a striking Solar tree, alongside a functional solar charging station and various educational exhibits. The results of this endeavour created an immersive learning environment, enabling visitors of all ages to explore renewable energy concepts firsthand. The Solar Park not only captured the interest of the general public but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility. This project successfully demonstrated the efficacy of 4Dframe tools in promoting renewable energy education and offered a tangible solution for educating people of all backgrounds about sustainable energy sources.
