Drawing on prior research, the theoretical background for both carbon neutrality and STEAM education was established. It was then confirmed that maker activities using the 4Dframe serve as an effective pedagogical tool that enables young children to proactively recognize problems and seek creative solutions. The program was conducted with 5-year-old children in the sequence of storytelling, maker activities, and play. Through this process, prospective early childhood teachers were able to communicate the importance of carbon neutrality to the children and present an educational model applicable to real classroom settings.
